whoever does pictures for the game can you please take pictures of all other cheerleaders instead of just the girls that have been focused on every game which are the girls in the middle. They are a team and I would like to see all and would like to purchase some action pictures. Thank you

Dear Tucker Fan:

There are two of us who do photos, so I am not sure which pictures are of
concern. Keep in mind that we are volunteering our time, energy and
resources and are not working for the yearbook staff, etc. The photos I
take are not posted here, but rather on my photo website. If you have
concerns with my personal galleries, please write me at the email address
provided on the front page of my site. Perhaps I can clarify the situation
we are faced with.

I sometimes have a media assignment so I primarily concentrate on game
action. However, I always try to capture other activities surrounding the
game. If you see the same cheerleaders posted on my website each week, it is
likely because they get my attention during the game and request photos.
Even though I take hundreds of photos at a game, I rarely have an
opportunity to capture my own son during a game and he is a football player.

Please be aware that other groups are asking for photos, including the band
and dancers. Time is limited and the pace is extremely frantic at game
time. Getting cheer action photos or a group shot is quite challenging, due
to the lighting conditions at the stadium, and the need to change to a
smaller lens. While I know I am missing some great action shots of the
cheerleaders, it is sometimes physically impossible to get across the field,
change lens and get the shots before they finish a routine.

Another deep concern is the problems inherent with standing on an open field
and opening up the camera for a lens change. This exposes the sensitive
camera mechanisms and lens to dust, water and dirt. Even in minute amounts
it can be a serious problem. I limit the times I do this. My last lens
repair was $348. The only solution would be to invest in a 2nd camera and
lens to have handy during games, but due to costs, that is simply not
feasible. I am sure the other Tucker parent taking pictures would have the
same concerns.

During the game, please feel free to let one of us know you want a specific
photograph. We will do our best. I appreciate your interest and support.

You got your 5min of fame. News to you, I may know your name now, but I'll forget it in a day, everybody in the nation will remember Coach Spurrier's name forever.

Subject: Hats off to Coach Stephens

I wanted to commend Coach Stephens for supporting Jonathan Davis and standing up to South Carolina. What USC did was a terrible thing and it shows a great deal of character for Coach Stephens to publicly speak out against the USC football program. Unlike Steve Spurrier, Mr. Stephens is obviously a man of great integrity and my hat is off to him.

We are very proud of the way the Tigers carried themselves to the championship......with dignity and class. We are also proud of the fact that my grandson/nephew,Ramal was part of such a great team. This experience will be with these young men the rest of their lives. Good job to all

From a 1980 Tucker Alumnus "We Believed" and you pulled through convincingly. As a former player you won this for all of the former Tucker football players and teams over the years, THANK YOU.

Friday was very special for me. I lost my 18 year old son Sean 3 years ago, and have had a hard time with it, especially on his birthday......
Friday December 12th Sean would have been 22 years old.

I had the pleasure of being one of the "fog guys" at the dome (Matt Mathews and myself do the fog machine when our players run thru the sign the cheerleaders make for every game.---What an honor)

I really think Sean was up there pulling for the Tucker Tigers for me.

It was a very special day...... I love and miss you Sean------Congrads Tucker Tigers on the championship

Subject: THANK YOU TUCKER TIGERS!!!

Not only is the TIGERS' FIRST STATE CHAMPIONSHIP the best Christmas present ('LOVED your adorable run-through, Cheerleaders, and I wish I could have better seen/heard what fun the Dancers and Band were doing at half time!), but it's also my best birthday present ever! Yep, as one of your alumi, Class of '73, I'm celebrating the best 53'rd I could wish for today, along with Alex ('07!), and all of our TERRIFIC TUCKER COMMUNITY! Through your inspiration and perspiration, TIGERS, we have a truly wonderful gift lifting all our spirits this season! Be sure, little Olivia in heaven is dancing with us! I simply cannot resist making note of just how storybook perfect you've made this for us all: By BEATING MARIST IN THE DOME, you proved you were NUMBER ONE FROM THE BEGINNING, but had to accept and overcome several challenges on the road to receiving your CROWN! Again, thank you, TUCKER TIGERS-WE LOVE YOU!!!
