The Quarterback Club will once again be sponsoring a Golf Tournament this year!.
It is scheduled for Monday afternoon, October 1, at Smoke Rise Country Club. The
cost will be $100.00 per player or $400.00 per team. Our goal is to have between
80 - 88 players. That will max out the course. The cost per
player will cover green fees, the cart, and a "goody" bag with assorted items
(hat, etc.).
There
will also be raffle tickets for a chance to win merchandise from the Golf Pro
Shop, etc.
We
will not have any beer or alcohol on the course. However, beginning at 5:00 we
will have a "Social Hour" in the Men's Grill area and patio (weather permitting)
for those that either don't play, can't get off work, or simply want to come a
bit later to show their support for our program. We will have a cash bar and
will be asking for monetary contributions for the QB Club.
We are
hoping to get some support from Tucker alumni, alumni players, and other
community members. Please pass the word.

If we
can pass the word and get a large number of players, there is an opportunity to
make some pretty good money. The number of players drive everything . . . no
players = no money.
On
Monday mid-morning, October 1, we will need approximately 8 - 10 volunteers that
can assist with registration, selling of raffle tickers, etc. This may also be a
good opportunity to sell some spirit wear.
