Super Bowl 50 is now history. Final score Denver Broncos 24, Carolina Panthers 10.
Many are not aware, however, that the NFL has created a Super Bowl High School Honor Roll. The Honor Roll celebrates high schools and communities that have contributed to Super Bowl history. High schools received a commemorative Golden Football in honor of every player who graduated from the high school and was on an active Super Bowl roster.
Tucker High School is proud to claim two such players: John McMakin, who was a member of the first Pittsburgh Steeler Super Bowl team, and Patrick Pass, who was a member of 3 New England Patriot Super Bowl teams! These two men are already enshrined in the Tucker High School Hall of Fame at Tucker High School.
These Golden Balls will eventually be displayed at Tucker High School in a prominent, secure location to honor these two players.
